Re: Sort of inspired by #10 - Shall we play truth or dare again?

For you: what's the silliest thing you said to someone you were trying to impress?

For me: you know, I honestly do not know. I am usually quite honest, there isn't one big thing that stands out. And if I lie it's usually by omission not by outright lie.

But, have one. It's somewhat personal, but I do not mind. Thing is I have self-harm scars. I tend to wear long sleeves, and even if I don't people generally have the good sense not to ask. But there's always that one exception. So I was on a holiday in Greece and didn't feel like sweating half to death, so more scantily clad than usual. We go on this excursion, and this woman starts asking. And I think it's sort of rude and really don't feel like humoring her that day.

So I spin this insane story about chasing a cat and falling through the window in pursuit of it, and t sounded like a scene from an action movie. She just looks at me with total disbelief and I know she's not buying it, but she's not daring to actually challenge it and I'm thinking "good".

So maybe not the biggest, but the possibly most elaborate one.

Hmmmmm. Oh, probably when I had a kid-crush on one of my brothers friends and informed him that I could do my six-times-table, like it was an amazing feat.

Ngl that cat-story sounds amazing. The lady was certainly rude for asking though, even if you notice something like that you don't ask.

Aw, that's sort of cute! I once asked a boy to marry me because we both liked Batman. lol

(And for mine - I'm actually pretty chill about it in general, especially with people I know, but I have limits. I honestly don't know if she was clueless or just bold. I think I'm just going come up with like 5 outrageous stories in case I come across people like that).

Oh man me and a girl got playground-married in primary school because we both liked horses so tbh Batman is as good a reason as any. :P

(Clueless and bold maybe? Because I'm baffled that a stranger would ask a random person about something like that. Haha, and deliver them with like an amazingly straight super-serious face.)
