Right. Because you need to be a crazy slash fan to see some potential homoerotic subtext between those two, when Ramsay regularly creeps feels him up in every possible way, calls him "my Reek" while being "close enough to kiss" and seems generally the kind of guy who would think it's a great idea to rape the dude he's torturing.

nothing in my post is incompatible with that, i never said that reading was crazy or that slash theories in general are crazy

No, but "slash fan theories" sounds more like people reading more into something that isn't there, while Ramsay/Theon is very heavily implied in the text and you hardly need to be a slash fan to think that there's something sexual going on there. I know people who can't stand slash who think that Ramsay raped Theon.

Gonna go ahead and point out that Theon was abducted at Winterfell, and we don't see him again until he's been thoroughly Reek-ed. I'm not saying there isn't any sexual subtext, but most of the shit that goes down in the show was NOT in the books. 'Heavily implied' is pushing it.

The show hasn't really added much other than showing how he was tortured. Things like the bath scene and Ramsay invading Theon's personal space also happen in the books.
