Re: have you ever visited a foreign country? what was your impression?

I visited Germany once, Hamburg to be specific.

The food was good, loved the sausage. The people all looked really fancily dressed, and I felt ridiculously underdressed. I also didn't actually speak any German, so that didn't help.

I did get hit on a couple of times, which was kind of creepy, since I was 14 at the time, but I guess I looked older?

It was gorgeous, though, and I loved the cobblestones, and the bus/train/ferry travel system combo. I'd love to go there again, if I can.
