Re: have you ever visited a foreign country? what was your impression?

Most of the EU countries, Turkey and Russia (when it still was the Soviet Union). The last two were the only ones that were significantly different from my own, but all of them were great to see. The trip to Russia was rather, let's say interesting, because our tourist group wasn't allowed to go everywhere, but only to the places that made the Soviet Union look great and rich.
