Haven't watched the video yet, does it go into any detail into who might be doing the cartoon? Pacific Rim is pretty popular in Japan iirc and I'd kill for a studio like Bones to animate it. Wishful thinking, I know.

They make things like Superjail and Venture bros. which are both shows that I love but Pacific Rim is...a departure from shows like that to say the least so I'm curious as to what they'll do with it

I love their animation though it's a bit different for each of their shows. Superjail has very well done (and trippy) animation and Venture Brothers also looks quite nice. As noodly says though, it's still highly speculative whether they're actually doing the show or not so who knows what's going on

Look, I heard this as a rumor on /co/. So take that with an entire shaker of salt. We get leaks from people working on the shows, we get leaks from 14 year olds in basements.
