I definitely want Amy to be in a successful (gay) relationship with somebody but I'm not entirely sure it should be Karma. Karma... kind of sucks sometimes. I'm not sure how that relationship would work out.

I really don't know where they're going to go though. I hope they don't screw up or anything.

I think they've written themselves into a trap, honestly. The focus of the show is Amy and Karma's relationship, so most viewers are going to start out shipping that/continue to feel some loyalty and nostalgia for the pairing as the series goes on, even if it never happens. If Amy ever gets another girlfriend, it's going to feel like second best.

That sounds more like real life. Why couldn't the story go in a direction like that? It'd be refreshing, I think.

It's realistic, absolutely, but real life and fictional narratives aren't structured the same way. A lot (not all, but a lot) of stories go "set up goal (in this case, Amy getting together with Karma) > goal is threatened > goal is realized" so people come to expect it. If they don't hit that third beat, it'll feel unfulfilling, even if it is realistic.

Plus, I think a lot of people tuned into this show thinking it would be a "fake dating turns real" romcom plotline, and are going to be disappointed if that's not how it turns out.

Yeah, this. Unless Amy ends up with Jasmine (fun, but not really feeling it) or Lauren (NO), they'd have to introduce a new character specifically to be her girlfriend and on that path lies danger.

S1 was, unfortunately, fairly rubbish story-writing wise. I mean, I'm no story writer, but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to finish your story (or even just the season) on the All Is Lost Moment at the end of Act 2. If Karmy is going to be endgame (I still hope so, if only because Karma urgently needs some development), they've got a lot of work to do to steer the ship right again.

Well, it's not good to finish a story on All Is Lost, but it's pretty standard to end seasons (or books in a series) that way. That's the basis for most cliffhangers.

I don't watch this show so I don't really have an opinion on this secret, but I really like the blonde girl's nose. She kind of reminds me of Annie from SnK

I'm kind of curious about this show but I might wait until it's over so I can make sure there's no tragic ending before I watch. Unless there's a lot of other stuff that I like to balance it out, I try to avoid those.

I totally get what you're saying, OP, but Karma is hilariously impossible to like and I'd really rather Amy end up with someone else. Even if they suddenly start writing her well, I just can't see myself warming up to the ship.

I think the problem with Karma is she doesn't really 'get' that a girl can love her. For her, dating Amy is still about social status more than getting to know her best friend on a whole new level.

And it's pretty obvious she's bisexual, considering that she's kissed and made out with Amy a few times.

The thing is that Karma hasn't displayed any signs of being into Amy that way. She's kissed and made out with Amy, yes, but I don't think that necessarily means she's bisexual; I don't think there's been any indication that she was ever doing it for any reason other than her popularity plan.

And the other problem is that, even outside of not understanding that Amy is totally in love with her, she often comes across as inconsiderate and unfeeling.

Yeah, your last sentence is what I was getting at originally -- My whole issue with her is that she's pretty self absorbed and kind of manipulative, with very few redeeming qualities or scenes. It's tough to want a character I actually like to end up with someone like that, no matter what Karma's sexuality is.
