(Anonymous) 2014-06-28 03:13 am (UTC)(link)Why? I'm not saying it's okay she was harassed, because it's not, and those people really suck. But this is someone with a lot of support to fall back onto. So, you have this issue of having people to turn to but also having people who LIKE you and want to see your stuff, and you turn your back on them.
I couldn't understand taking a break from everything until things boil over, because people only can take so much, but I can't understand deleting everything when there are people behind you. Leave things up at least so they can continue to enjoy what you've done.

When you put yourself out there, you have to accept that some people aren't gonna like it, and when you admit to doing something like what this person was doing, then you have to accept that some people are gonna be upset.
"Toughening up" means taking responsibility for what you've done, and also honoring the people who stand by you.
