If manga was as cheap as it is in Japan, things would be different. But it's not the case.

Manga really isn't that cheap in Japan.

Oh, I would call 460 yen for most mainstream manga cheap. Of course there are also some which are more expensive, but the majority of it is in the 300-600 yen range. That'd be 2-4€ in my country and considering that you cannot get manga nowadays for less than 7-10€, it is quite a difference.
