Yeah, and blocking IP addresses is just another form of making sure only the people you want to see the content can.

Kind of like, you know, scanlation groups on LJ who lock their works. Or people who post to moderated forums with strict entry guidelines.

It's also ONLY in the Free! fandom that September has ever had this problem. Smells like fandom politics to me.
