I used to think age of consent was a sound system till I turned 23 and realized there is a world of difference between a 15 year old and a 20 year old. I don't give a shit about age of consent, once you reach your 20's (or at least mid 20's) you should know better than to lust/go after kids and if you still do, it's kind of pathetic. Because most teens really are naive, easy to take advantage of, and lacking in proper judgment. 17 year old me would've been offended by that, but it's true.

This. Unfortunately, a lot of guys never grow out of this (and probably a few women). I remember this one guy who once talked about dating a 17-year-old when he was in his late 20s... granted, that's not quite the same, but I'm still like, "really?"

But I also save a lot of disgust for 50-year-olds who still go after a certain "type" -- 25-year-old smokin' hot blonde girls. Yeah, I know they're all adults, and it's very possible it's nature in action (gag), but something about that just makes me uugghhhh. I guess I should be glad they want each other though.

Jesus christ. You do realise that there's a world of difference between finding an image of a fifteen year hold pretty on screen and actually wanting to be sexual with fifteen year olds in real life? Right? Because you sound like you don't get the difference between things that go on inside someone's head and things that happen in the real world.

Though I also think in places where that is true, there is even problems if an over-18 person sleeps with a 16-year-old. At least in America they can be put up on charges of statutory rape.

I don't know how many other countries have statutory rape as a possible crime though.

Lusting after prepubescent kids is one thing, finding older teens attractive is another. You really think any male who's attracted to Kate Upton now would have no reaction to how she looked at 16? It's a perfectly normal reaction.

Finding someone attractive, sure, but when you want a 15 year old to do a nude scene (or in the case of all the perverse neckbeards who lusted after Sophie Turner since she was 14, a full blown sex scene), you're messed up. Lust after an actor who's your own age, for god's sake. I know I don't find it hard to not lust after 15 year old RDJ despite being attracted to his current self. You're an adult, get some sense.
