Rats and anything rodent-like animals really have a nasty and undeserved image as vermin. They are so closely associated with sickness, uncleanliness and a whole bagful of despicable human personality traits (cowardice f.e.), it's really unfair.

Now, bunnies are a completely different matter. I admit I thought they are stupid, too. Although in my book that's nothing to hold against them, is it? I had a small group of guinea pigs for a while, and let me tell you guinea pigs are as dumb as a string of dropped toothpaste - cute little buggers though.
