Nope, none of the things people have guessed. One anon did catch me as an ex member of the SPN fandom though-- the J2 fans are the tinhatters I scoffed at!

But it's been a while since rabbits have been truly relevant to who I mean. I just chose that because that was the time they were mainly known by the general public.

(It's not a TV show. It is in fact a band.)

It wasn't the rabbits so much as the tinhatting and the phrase "going at it like bunnies".

I don't personally subscribe to this newsletter, but it's not an unpopular one.

I just assumed OP was tinhatting X-Files (by which I mean David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson RPS) because it's one of the OG RPS things - tabloids loooooved to speculate about whether or not they were 'doing it' at any given time, and the two actors definitely played up their 'are they or aren't they' ambiguity between 2012 and 2013 for the 20th anniversary.
