Already saw it. The opening is okay, but I can't judge it too much since I can't see muchthe CGI transformation scene is super disappointing.

I have no strong invested feelings about it, so I like the OP and transformation.

I'm more excited to see if they can actually make Usagi wear a successful derp face. That's my quality bar.

I really like the opening! The transformation sequence would be great, too, but I'm not much of a fan of CGI to begin with and it rubs me entirely the wrong way when shoehorned into 2D animation like that :\

I'm cool with CGI on its own, but I hate when it's badly integrated with 2D animation, and this is definitely bad integration. I really like the first ribbonsplosion that makes the leotard, though; the hugeness of it is pretty awesome.

I don't mind their use of CGI, but it did look a bit awkward coupled with the very flat 2d style. Also now that I've seen the characters in motion, I can see how they've stuck more closely to Naoko's original manga style. When they first unveiled the character designs, I couldn't really see it.

I liked the opening a lot but I'm kinda 'eh' on the transformation sequence. It started out nice but when it got more obviously CGI it just looked kinda weird to me.

Transformation was gorgeous (shame they didn't do it in 2D, though), but way too long. Hope they don't plan to show it as much as they did in the original without shortening it up a bit. I liked the opening. I really hope this new Usagi still has her goofy expressions and gracelessness.

Usually, in these types of shows, they show off the whole transformation the first time but use a shortened version the rest of the time. So that shouldn't be a problem.

I will believe the transformation is from the show when I see it saturday? I don't believe most leaked stuff as real these days. People are too good at making fakes.

Eh, normally I'd agree if it were a still image, but animation takes a while and the combination of both CGI and 2D would require a lot of specialized effort for just a joke. Even as large as it, I'd say very few people in the fandom have the skills needed to pull it off.
