And from way back in my fandom days: 1x2 + 3x4; Ken/Omi+Aya/Yohji and Sanzo/Goku (+GojyoxHakkai) - I always shipped the not-as-popular alternate variations of those pairings.

Are you me? I really dislike 1x2 and 3x4. They're just so damn boring to me especially when compared to the other many pairing combos that Gundam Wing had to offer. Who did you ship?

Also, seconded on Gojyo/Hakkai.

1x3 - they were my main OTP. I didn't mind and sometimes read 2x3 or even 3x5 (That one was very rare, though, as far as I remember) - but I could deal with just about any pairing as long as it wasn't 1x2 and 3x4 X''D

1x3 is pretty great. I've not read much 2x3 or given much thought to the pairing. 3x5 is absolutely fabulous! It is rare, but it does have a few doujins. In fact a doujin anthology of it was released last year and a friend got a hold of it for me. :3

My main OTP is actually 1x5 though and it is super rare. I'm still disappointed that 1x2x5 was the popular threesome in this fandom instead of 1x3x5. The odd numbered pilots go together so well.

Ohh, that's nice - I wasn't aware that doujinshi for that series were still going strong!

Oh, dear, yes, that's a real rarepair.
1x3x5 was great but yeah, so rare... It's a pity - They had great chemistry.

It really is! My friend managed to get it before it sold out on Toranoana. I was hoping to get a second copy and send it to someone to scan, but it was not meant to be. I'm not sure if I'd say it's going strong, but there's a few doujinshi released every year.

Yeah, it really is. I'm pretty sure I've read every fic for it that's in English. :( Wish there was more. Might reread The Arrangement to satisfy my craving.

They really did! Wufei and Trowa in the circus camp, it was just so great. And Trowa and Heero after he self destructed Wing. Ugh, they had so much potential.

Sorry for the ranmbling I've got so many thoughts about this fandom and pairings.

Well, at least that's something. I don't follow the doujinshi scene much, but a few is better than none XD Especially when it comes to rare pairings.

Yes! Not to mention all 3 of them in Endless Waltz - there was definitely a lot of potential.

That's true enough. I'm grateful that there's someone putting out a couple of 3x5 doujinshi each year. Just need to get my hands on them.

I jokingly refer to Endless Waltz as a lover's spat. Lol. It is not true, of course, but it is so fun to imagine it as one. Like the guys got together during the series and a little before Endless Waltz decided to try a threesome. Then Endless Waltz happens and there's that whole messy fighting between Wufei and Heero because of opposing views. And Trowa totally undercover was there to change Wufei's mind. Ugh, I daydream about how they'd deal with the aftermath. It usually ends with them being badass preventer boyfriends, struggling to regain the trust and work out theor relationship. All the while, protecting the fragile peace. It is so silly, I know.

Aw, thanks. I'd write fic for it but I'm no good at writing. So it will have to just stay as my super indulgent headcanon/fantasy.
