I heard SO MUCH about how it subverted the Chosen One trope and I'm like....no it didn't....

I had no idea people even thought that way about it. The Lego movie was just fantastic entertainment to me, subversion, or anything like that never came into the equation. I went to see it because I love every Lego video game I've ever played. I figured if it was anything like them, I was going to love it.
