(Anonymous) 2014-07-02 01:32 am (UTC)(link)Snape couldn't even be civil to Neville, a kid who did nothing more than happen to be a possible "other" for the prophecy. He tortured the poor kid.
He made Hermione cry.
He openly favored his own house and gave out unfair punishments.
He threatened a kid with truth serum.
Did I mention Neville? The kid whose boggart took shape of Snape?
I mean, the guy used a potion he was pretty sure was royally fucked up on a toad as punishment and then punished Hermione for helping Neville make it so that his pet wouldn't die!
Snape would have made an absolute horrible father, probably would have been a lot like Lucius Malfoy.
