Yeah, this. It's not that people are being stubborn about it. It's that conversations are a fun part of fandom, and there's not really anywhere active to have those anymore.

I miss the idea of just saying nice things about people's fanworks. Reblogs are swell, and good for exposure, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong if I write something about the thing under a reblog.
