Same here, anon. I think it definitely depends on your fandoms and who you're following. There's a lot of self-policing that has to come with tumblr in that if someone is making your dash such a toxic place you need to unfollow them and find people you mesh with. It can be tricky, sure but I've found it easier over there than it ever was on LJ with the cliques and BNFs and such. *shrugs* Everyone's experience is different.
