It's impossible now, but after reading about Isadora Duncan, I've always wanted a young Maggie Smith to play her. They looked like they could have been sisters!

I just really really want to see Daniel Radcliffe and Roger Rees play either son and father or younger and older versions of the same character. The resemblance is uncanny!

I know I'm not the first person to make this comparison and other people have said they don't see it, but Henry Cavill as Look Who's Talking-era John Travolta.

Not precisely what OP is asking, but this reminded me I'd love to see Holland Taylor and Susan Sullivan play a pair of fabulously snarky sisters.
