But then, I firmly believe everybody is hyprocritical about something, and it's not necessarily the end of the world.

That is a singularly horrifying thought. D-:

It doesn't have to be. I can be against animal cruelty while still eating meat, for instance. Killing an animal for food when you don't have to is kind of cruel to the animal.

It's all about the beliefs that we make exceptions for. Everybody does it, and you're fooling yourself if you think you don't. And in this case, it's not the exceptions that really bother me, it's the attitudes behind them.

I think it's kind of true, though. We're imperfect beings with varying levels of self-awareness.
