Re: So. The Facebook "all ur emotion are belong to us" experiment. Discuss!

I am, and I don't care about facebook trying to "manipulate my emotions." What I do care about is not showing me things my friends post when they post them. If they want to monkey around with their sponsored posts, be my guest.

Yes, this. It's already difficult enough because I do think the news feed tries to guess which things you'd find interesting (and from which people) and then not show the rest; ugh, I just want to see what my friends post!!

same! So what is I don't talk to them often, I still want to know what's going on. We don't talk because they live on the other side of the country/world so I keep in touch by just reading their posts. Just show them to me!

Seriously. That pisses me off. It also pisses me off that sometimes no one sees the page I run for work because I refuse to pay them for ads. We're a small business, we have better ways to spend our money, and while I could do it out of pocket... then I feel like I'm making some sort of compromise, and I'm not comfortable with that. I just want my posts, work and personal, to actually be seen. And to actually see the things other people post.
