Haha that's kind of amazing, kind of awful, and kind of totally unsurprising. It's completely what I would expect when I'm being completely pessimistic about the digital economy. The thing that I dislike about it is less that they're manipulating the emotions of their users, and more that their users are products and test subjects whose main role is providing valuable data w/o knowledge or consent. But I guess this is the world we live in now.

I don't really use Facebook personally. I have one but I've never seen much use in spending time on it.
