Er...what? Really? You've never seen this problem in fandom before?

Like people thinking that all characters are either assholes or saints?

Like thinking that if two characters are friends or lovers, they shouldn't have any issues?

Like thinking that if two good guys have an argument or conflict, one of them must be totally wrong and must grovel and beg the right one for treating them so badly?

Like being incapable of letting multiple characters have multiple different opinions and goals?

Like realizing non-villain antagonists are not evil and out to get the good guys?

Etc etc etc?

When you put it like this, I see what you mean. Actually, I didn't get the OP's meaning untill I've read this and others comments.) I think it overlaps with 'fic writers are too immature, nothing to read'.
