I love The Maiden and the Selkie. ♥

It is so awesome! Especially the way her voice sounds with the line, "For your kind to live..." I don't know why, but I love that part.

That part slays me.

And I appreciate that it's one of the few songs/stories (that I know of) that's about a male selkie. I like the world-building that that implies, mythology wise. If that makes sense? |D

That song made me want to listen to more Irish/Scottish/Gaelic music. Have not been able to find much that interests me though. ;_;

The first link and "Illean a i" are the only happy ones I mentioned. Most gàidhlig music is quite sad.
