My god, a Claidi Journals secret! I thought I was the only person who liked those books—the consensus I've seen around is that they're Lee's weakest, but they were the only books of hers I've ever gotten into. Small nonny shipped the hell out of Claidi/Argul. (He taught her how to ride horses! She asked questions all the time and he thought it was super charming!)

It's been years since I read Wolf Wings and I barely remember what it was about, but I remember being really charmed by all of Claidi's adventures in her flying tower. . . . Is that Wolf Wings? The big reveal that the current class system was created by a corrupted revolution wasn't very interesting or satisfying at all, though, I definitely agree with that. And my memories of the first book are strongest, which is a good indicator that it was the best of the books. So . . . Y A possibly N A, OP?

On the other hand, I found it very satisfying in that it showed how easily something with good intentions could turn to corruption.
