ugh that sounds like TOO MUCH DRAMAZ.

I can deal with some stuff, but micromanaging is the one of the things that wears me down fast. Just let me do my damn job. (Not referring to the drawer incident obv; I did deserve to be corrected for that. But other stuff he does. It grates.)

Oh god when it comes to my last job it definitely was too much drama. I was ridiculously stressed. I went and visited some of my old coworkers last week and they were all like, "wow, you look so much better! You're so relaxed!" So even though I'm dealing with some BS now, it's clearly nowhere near the level of BS I was dealing with before.

Micromanagement is some serious shit. It really is crazy-making, because it makes you feel like nothing you do is good enough. I hope you get some relief.

The thing that bugs me most about micromanagement is that it undermines my own agency in terms of getting my work done.

I'm glad you're in a better situation now. :)
