ok, that makes sense. I don't know if I could get past the animal part, but the way you see it as pseudo-human makes sense. not trying to rain on your parade.

agreed about foals. that's just extra, extra creepy and there's no way to get around the fact that you're basically writing kiddie porn because they ARE supposed to have the emotional maturity of a human child.
