Re: I don't know if these are unpopular but fuck it
The last movie I stopped on was this weird post-apocalyptic thing from the late '80's, starring Bill Paxton, Mark Hammill and the dude who played Muldoon (the clever girl-raptor hunting guy from Jurassic Park). I'm pretty sure I spied Robbie Coltrane and Ben Kingsley too. Anyway, it was called Slipstream and I'm fucking fascinated by it. I haven't even finished it, it's so goddamn long and kind of boring and I had a migraine the last time I tried to watch it so dozed and then I had to leave somewhere and didn't finish it. The world was just so expansive and the plot so strange and barely coherent and, like, I said, I'm just enthralled by it. I feel like I need to sit down and watch the whole thing again until I can make sense of it and until every thing about is ingrained in me because there was just something about that I'm so intrigued by, even though, objectively, I know it's just some bad movie.
I don't think my fiancé would abide watching it again, and it's boring to watch bad movies alone.
Anyway, what have you been watching? I can rec you movies, esp. cultish stuff.
