Re: bad managers thread
(Anonymous) 2014-07-11 01:59 am (UTC)(link)I'm not saying your manager acted appropriately, and I apologize if it came off that way. He sounds like a jerk, actually, but he's the manager. I'm just saying your most productive route is to try and see the situation from his point of view and most likely start off with an apology tomorrow as well as some sort of statement as to how you're going to prevent the cash-drawer thing from happening in the future. You can also let him know that you would appreciate it if he would refrain from yelling in the future because it upsets you and makes it difficult for you to do your job. I can see why his behavior shook you up - but a job's a job, and you take a deep breath and go back in tomorrow.
