Is a grease monkey
Is a bit of a slob (Isn't preoccupied by his appearance)

Okay, how about this. The producers have said Dean is not gay or bi. The writers have said Dean is not gay or bi. And Ackles, himself, has said that Dean is not gay or bi.

I think that's what so frustrating to me as a fan of the show. If Dean was written as gay or bi, I would have no problem with it. But when everyone on the show has stated time and time again that he isn't and the reaction from some factions of the fandom is, "No, really, you can tell me, is he gay or bi?" over and over again it becomes hair pulling.

You have your answer. Shut up, already.

I'm not saying Dean isn't heterosexual. He's obviously canonically heterosexual. But there is no reason to say he is the most heterosexual character ever.
