The other games don't have much of a story either, so I don't know what those people are on about. It's always been "Beat 8 people with punny names, then some more dudes, catch all the pokemon, you have no dad, there's a professor named after a tree, then there's a villainous group of incredibly stupid adult babies with an ill-defined goal but kinda neat costumes and you beat up their rats. Oh shit look at this GIANT dinosaur bird guy!!"

I am loling at this it is so true

(though I do think BW had a pretty good story. and, I may be in the minority on this, but I really enjoyed RSE's story too)
