That's really impressive that you can crochet without looking. I've never had much luck with it myself. Do you keep all the blankets you make or give some out as gifts?

Lots and lots of gifts. In fact, now is the first time I'm working on something for me, four years after learning.

Thank you, by the way! I have to glance every now and then, but if it's a pattern I know or am used to, it's a lot of repetitive motion, and muscle memory does the work for me. If you practice, it gets easier. And even if you aren't good at patterns, anyone can do a granny square with practice. Once you can do a granny, you can do blankets.
