Life’s Little Annoyances

(Anonymous) 2014-07-14 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
Clamshell packaging – I know it’s supposed to make things harder for shoplifters, but as an actual consumer who has to deal with it when I get home, it’s so annoying (also, cutting myself on the plastic or whatever I’ve used to open it has happened more than a few times)

Why is it so hard to punch in the sides of the cardboard to keep the tube of aluminum foil/plastic wrap from coming out of the box when tearing some foil/wrap off? Why aren’t the boxes already designed to keep the tubes in?

Post your little annoyances here.

Not an annoyance, but a suggestion: use a manual can opener to open clamshell plastic packaging.
