Re: So what about authors...
If I see that an author never answers comments, I don't leave one (excluding a handful of times that I was so filled with squee I couldn't help myself). I also tend to stop commenting on any sort of post when I see that they pick and choose who they respond to: 57 comments and you only reply to 9? I'm backing out.
