Yes, a supposedly Protestant organization had nuns. It's manga; there aren't a lot of Christians in the local audience to cry foul.

That's weird, I'm finding Catholic only.

Quoting from the TV Tropes page:

"Anime Catholicism/Christianity is Catholic: The liner notes for the anime state that, although it's technically interfaith, the Order of Magdalene is at its core a Protestant Order, which is absolutely silly if you know anything about how Protestant churches tend to operate."

I dunno, I have a hard time trusting TV Tropes when they claim to have official information conveniently found nowhere else. Is there another link that states the same?

....uh. Going off a secret posted here some time ago, apparently there are Anglican nuns? At least, the secret was that anon did not know there were Anglican (so, Protestant) nuns until they watched an episode of Call the Midwife?

I have absolutely no context for the secret as it stands (being neither Catholic nor Anglican), but the background pic definitely ranks right up there with tar season for me LOL.

An order of gun-toting demon-fighting nuns, if I remember.

Could be it's because I grew up Catholic, but I'm pretty sure it was a Catholic order too, and I'm getting only "Catholic" when I research anything in regards to a religion in the anime.
