I like the werewolf in An American Werewolf in London. Still has the best transformation scene set to cinema.

I'd say uk being human has a pretty good transformation, in giving voice to the pain it must be to completely change biology for a night.

Yes! I was going t rec this movie, it's awesome! Funny and horrifying in equal measure (and very sad in the end) and the special effects are fantastic.

I found the transformation scene both hilarious and incredibly disturbing. Which may have been the intention, heh.

I judge werewolf movies in part by their transformation sequences, and no question, American Werewolf In London is a high-water mark. The visceral body horror of it is amazing.
