That Mog one is pretty badass though.

IMO it could go either way. Suikoden runes seem to work well since they're symbols, and don't mean anything out of context. Slapping Sonic's head or a Slytherin mark on your arm might be neat when you're a teenager, but you might question the decision later in life.
