That is an awesome souvenir idea.

My only concern if i did that would be the limited snapshot I'd get. For instance the radio times is a verrry limited demographic.

Not gonna lie, Radio Times is my favourite publication in the whole of the UK, even though 90% of it is just listings. It's the most reliably best written magazine there is here. I've subscribed to it for over 10 years now, only for the articles, as I can get the rest online.

If you hate TV or movies, it will be of limited interest. Time Out would be even worse, though, as that's all about events in London. It's still fun to read the 10 pages that aren't listings.

Well yes but the articles only cover TV, radio and films ad is so painfully middle class. Very limited view indeed.

But yes it is very well written.

What wide-circulation magazine is out there that isn't painfully middle class?

I genuinely can't think of one. Perhaps a few shallow style-led ones, which are worse, as they're pretending that that they're not, but are just even more so.

You make a good, and thoroughly depressing, point.

The Sun? Not a magazine though, or indeed something I'd want anyone judging British culture on. :/

Radio Times it is! :)
