Random fact: the guy who did the minstrel voice in that episode also did the voices for Apa the flying bison and Momo the monkey thing.

I still have to re-watch the Katara Fire Nation episode. Looking forward to it! The three awesome Fire Nation girls have just teamed up where I am now, in season 2.

Ozai's Angels ftw. I always thought Ty Lee was much smarter than anyone gave her credit for. Look at her debut episode. She's happy to see Azula, but she knows she's dangerous. She's NOT happy about being recruited, but goes when she's threatened. Ty Lee knows cray-cray when she sees it. That speech about being part of a matched set she gives in the third season beach episode? That's gotta be an act. She knows Azula would hurt her where it hurts if she felt she needed to. So she made up a story that expressed her dissatisfaction with her family, and created a fake weakness.
Fuck yeah, Ty Lee.

Ty Lee is an attractive character. I found her the bravest of the three right from the start, for having dared to run away from the family and away to the circus.

She's very good at pretending to be an airhead when it suits her.

I always wanted to cosplay as her, but I got too old and cut my hair. Boo.
