The minstrel has the best voice, so laid back and adorable. But the voice work in Avatar is particularly good.

I didn't even notice that was Jason Isaacs (ie Lucius Malfoy) first time around, as that admiral who has it in for Zuko.

As for Zuko, he has such a fantastic voice. Just the right combination of angry and misunderstood teen. I've not checked but I'm betting there's a barrel load of fic about him in which he's a sweet little woobie and nobody knows what it feeeeels like to be him.

His uncle is written a little unevenly in places, for reasons of comedy, but I love him too. Wasn't there that one episode that he spent mostly naked? Old man naked and not caring that he's naked is always funny.

I'm getting all sort of Avatar happy feelings now.

Yeah, he's bathing in a hot spring and gets kidnapped by Earth Kingdom soldiers. Zuko comes to rescue him and Zuko and Iroh-in-his-loincloth kick major ass. One of my favorite lines in the whole series comes from that episode.

Earthbender Captain: "Surrender yourselves! It's five against two. You're clearly outnumbered."

Uncle Iroh: "That's true. But you are clearly outmatched."

(Cue asskicking.)

I saw a post on Tumblr ages ago that called Zuko "the most accurate portrayal of a teenager in the history of television." I don't think that's too far off.
