Because you're such a good beta to them, they likely feel obligated to beta for you, even if they'd rather not or don't have the skill for it.

You can either talk to them about it and if they really want to beta for you, perhaps give them pointers on what you'd appreciate in a beta. Or, you can stop beating your head against a wall that isn't going to change and go searching for someone who isn't a friend to beta in a way you'd like.
