Re: Ding Dong the Witch is Gone

I had a coworker who was like some crazy-ass stuck-up bitch. She was supervisor in an office that closed during the week between Christmas and New Year's (my company had affiliations with Other Company, and the offices that were in Other Company's building closed whenever Other Company closed), and she was fucking stupid at her job. Like, her office would run out of shit because she couldn't grasp the concept of ordering supplies.

Anyway, she would get sent to my office during the week between Christmas and New Year's, because she didn't want to take PTO (employees who worked in offices inside Other Company didn't just automatically get that week off, since the rest of us didn't. They either had to take PTO or go work in another office). I was the supervisor of my office, so while she was there, I outranked her -- but she couldn't accept that. She would spend the entire week bucking my authority, bitching about how things were done "differently" at her office (the things that were done differently? Totally miniscule insignificant things, like "which color copy of this form do I get." It was stuff that wasn't hammered out in company policy because it didn't fucking matter), and trying to tell me what to do. She'd also try to get out of doing things that were her fucking job because "this isn't my office." Fuck you, nobody cares, your job description says XYZ, so you are going to do XYZ, bitch.

I no longer work for that company, so I no longer have to deal with her during Christmas season. I am so happy.

How the fuck did she keep her job if she was that stupid?

AYRT

So, you know how Myers-Briggs is a thing? Well, my company had us all take it. Guess what? Every single person in upper management was a Feeler rather than a Thinker.

Now, I'm not saying it's wrong to be a Feeler. I'm not saying it's wrong to have some Feelers in upper management. But when all you've got is Feelers, well...you wind up with some people who should be canned but haven't been, because the people in charge of firing them are like "oooh but they seem so nice and how would it effect them?"

That sounds so frustrating. I would hate that.
