Personally, I prefer Song of Songs. Though, as a kid, I was partial to Revelations. I was really into that end times junk.

I forget the book, but I always liked that part where Abraham was going to kill his kid because God said so and god was like "lol j/k."

Oh man, so Revelations. I went and saw the Omen remake in 2006 when it came out and the whole opening is narration from the Book of Revelations with visuals of matching events in the past several years.

And I was like "wow. not that i think the end has come, but that's pretty freaky they were able to match up every single line like that."

And then I went home and looked them up in our bible, AND HALF THE LINES WEREN'T EVEN IN THERE. 2006 OMEN WAS FULL OF SHIT. :|

For lines that are there and sort-of-recent events that potentially match them, did they mention Rev 8:11 and the Chernobyl disaster? It was the basis of an episode of Millennium.

To quote the King James Bible: "And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter."

Chernobyl, apparently, means 'wormwood' in Ukranian. Not even kidding.

I have no idea. I'd have to watch it again since it's been, well, eight years. God, time flies.

Haha. Oh, I also wanted to mention since I found this today. Did you know you have your own cave?

Your icon looks like it should sing the Song of Dongs.

Is this even supposed to be an insult?

Anyway, the guy in my icon is called Brain BUT don't call him that HE'S BRIAN. He's a character from one of my favorite movies, Skinned Deep. In one part of the movie he fantasizes about being free from his psychotic, homicidal family of failed genetic experiences. His idea of being free is running naked through Times Square in nothing but his boots, cock flopping like a fish as it bounces off his thighs. (The actor was arrested for this as they didn't have a permit to run naked down the street.) Watch the movie, you won't regret it.

This would actually seem to be an argument in favor of the Song of Dongs...

I was always partial to Ruth. She knew what was what. Also the Abraham story you're thinking of is from Genesis.

I love the fact that we have an ancient Joy of Sex book smack-dab in the middle of a collection that's carried around and frequently quoted by some of the most sex-phobic people on earth.

(Note: I'm not saying Christians in general and/or Bible readers are total prudes, but the most prudish I've seen are some of the biggest Bible thumpers around.)
