Oh dear. This may come as a shock to you, but first, people frequently exaggerate in their memoirs, even when it's supposed to be a true-to-life account See: James Frey. Second, TV/movie adaptations aren't always faithful to the book. See: every TV/movie adaptation of a book ever made.

This might also come to a shock to you, dear anon, but often times things we think are the 'made up for tv or film' parts are the parts that actually happened.

So what's the likelihood that "everything" that appears in that show is 100% true? Because that's what the original comment said, and most people realize that when it comes to adaptations of book, changes will likely be made.

... did you read the Buzzfeed article? That will show you just how many parts of that show weren't actually "parts that actually happened".

DA There are lots of scenes, esp. in season 2, where Piper was nowhere near and couldn't possibly know what the other characters were saying or thinking. In fact, the whole Red vs. Vee plot had absolutely nothing to do with Piper, so I'm pretty sure it was mostly fabricated for the show.
