Can this be like the superhero rogues gallery thing going on in my head, where you have the original hero/villain, but then you get the next iterations down the line? And then the folk who keep up with you are all, "UGH I hate the new Fedora! He's all tip and run willy nilly, where the original Fedora was like this curator kind of tipper. Can we vote to kill this one off for a new one?"

And then their story gets needlessly rebooted and retconned out of existence so the original fedora was the only one. At an FS panel in Daschcon 2016, fans will dress up as Askew!Fedora and Brown!Fedora to campaign for their reintroduction.
