"Welcome to the WORLD famous..."
A little less randomly, I have to question why the hell we filled out availability sheets saying when we're available to work when the supervisors ignore them. Apparently, we'll just get assigned when they need us regardless of when we said we can work because it's summer season, and all we can really do is hope to find someone who we can switch shifts with.
And for a while, I said I can't do closing shifts (due to transportation issues), but they said I can't be unavailable all the nights if I'm not a minor because to only give me one "type" of shift would show favoritism - which makes no sense because most people would prefer to have the bulk of their shifts during a set time-period, regardless of when that time period actually is. HOW IS IT FAVORITISM? And anyway, I call bullshit, because for all that they claim ignoring that part of my availability sheets is to give variety in the kind of shifts I get, for the last few weeks I've been getting almost nothing but closing shifts. WHAT THE FUCK.
