I know what you mean OP. There's still a chance that someone feels the same as you (person below?). Or everyone lost hope :P .

My fandom has about 10 years - wasn't popular even in 2004, but some good works appeared. Nowadays it has few active fanartists, no fic authors and plenty of nostalgic anons like me doing nothing about it xD . We might have a chance for a film ... but I bet it would be a disaster (and everyone probably guessed the fandom now xD).
