I'd just go with whichever gender you find more aesthetically pleasing more often, regardless of sexy or lack of sexy feelings.

I've tried to do that (and not just more aesthetically pleasing but also which I'd be more interested in having a romantic relationship with) but always end up feeling like I'm being dishonest or a fraud or something. It's like there have to be sexy feelings or it isn't valid or something.
