ASW is cemmenting on life in general, so the arty photo backgrounds make sense, but for a fannish one ... I guess I don't quite agree.

(The only one I've ever seen is softerwarcraft, which I enjoy precisely for the well-placed/well-chosen fannish backgrounds.)

I hadn't noticed that was a pattern, so I went to check, and the one that's up right now is at least two pictures. Do you mean that three pictures is too much but two is okay? Or do you want it to always be one picture?

I think that's all the same picture, just cropped different ways? The hand in the third panel looks like the same as the left-most hand in the first.

It used to be that they could use three totally different pictures, but over time they started using one cropped different ways. Both are "valid", I think. (If one needs approval in some way for this sort of thing...)

But a softer world uses different pictures for each panel sometimes? I would get more annoyed by bad fonts and the white space being too big, it just looks messy.

they just use emily's pictures, in any arrangement. there's no 1 or 2 picture rule, why would there be.
