(Anonymous) 2014-07-17 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)Oh, absolutely, and to be honest I think that's what happened with the people who were saying those things - one person provided an "opening", and suddenly people felt comfortable saying things they normally wouldn't. So I think - and this may be true for the OP too - they were probably less worried about what a sucky buzzkill I was and more frustrated with fandom stuff in general, and I just became their target point for a few thread pages.
